The bodega works on the principle of imposing an exigency in the grapes quality. Vineyards receive a permanent care so that the vegetative cycle and the grape quality finish in a proper way. They count with noble varieties: “Tempranillo”, “Garnacha”, “Cabernet Sauvignon”, “Merlot” and in a less quantity “Syrah”. They start in vineyards with a low output and a harvest in which they take into account the best moment of grapes ripening, it optimum sanitary state, as well as the tannin and colour concentration to get structured wines and guarantee its reception in the best condition by the consumer. In order to reach that aim the Bodega, makes a serial of analytical parameters, physics, chemicals, and visuals during the whole cycle of ripening. The wine background is in the variety of grapes with a different presence according to the grape features in every vegetative cycle. In all cases the casks used for the are French oak “Allier” of fine grain, medium toast and coming from sereral French barrel-making. |

VEGA DE CASEDA is also a wine produced with chosen grapes and the process is centred in achieving more modern wines where it predominates further the fruit tastes than the wood one. |
MELIUS is a wine made with grapes chosen and grown in French oak casks “Allier” made of a fine grain and a medium toast. The whole process is centred to achieve a balance among fruit, acidity the tannin structure and a balsamic touch provided by wood. MELIUS is launched to de market as New Style (4 months of permanency in cask), Tradition (12 months in cask), “Reserva”, Gran Reserva and Author Design. |
